CHI’26 Preprint Collection
Looking for current research on HCI + AI? Here’s a list.
Here’s a collection of CHI’26 preprints, found mostly via arxiv.org.
This list started in 2021 as a collection specifically for “HCI + AI” papers but interest in the list has grown in scope and AI has become very prevalent in work at CHI. Therefore, I’ve now mainly invested into categorising papers rather than selecting them based on their relation to AI topics.
I’ve also included “late “breaking work” (poster) papers, not just full papers.
Your preprint is missing? I regularly update the list in the run up to CHI’26. If you mention “CHI 2026” (or “CHI 26” or similar) in the arxiv metadata (e.g. the “Comments” field), I will find your preprint on my own. If your preprint lives somewhere else than arxiv, you can reach me e.g. via Bluesky, Mastodon, LinkedIn.
Your preprint is miscategorised? Please reach out and let me know your preferred section. I try my best to group the papers; when in doubt, I decide based on author keywords and what I think is the main targeted interest at CHI — which is of course subjective.
